The annual recycling program is the only fundraiser of the year for West Linn Troops 396 & 5396.  Scouts will come directly to your home on a designated day, take your tree and have it recycled.  Donations go towards funding our scout trips, scholarships, and community events throughout the year.

Any residences within the West Linn city boundary and Johnson Road residents in Stafford.

Over the years our families and friends have moved away from West Linn and still support our troop! While we are deeply appreciative of this, we will more actively limit our collection area to the city of West Linn and Johnson Rd. in the Stafford area. This allows other troops to receive the support of their local communities. If you are unsure if you are outside of our collection area please email us at trees@westlinntroop396.com before signing up.

We ask for a minimum donation of $20 per tree. Providing this service to the community is the sole fundraiser for our troops. Your generosity funds important troop activities throughout the year. We accept donations by:

Check: Please make payable to West Linn Troop 396 and secure it in a waterproof Ziplock baggy securely to the tree in a visible location -stapling or tethering to the base or the top of the tree is best..

Yes! You can donate to our troop using one of the following methods.

2. Credit Card (online) We will process credit card donations via Square here!

No. The tree recycling facility we use expressly prohibits flocked trees.  

We ask that you put your tree out in front of your house no later than 9am on the day of your scheduled pickup.  We cannot guarantee that scouts will knock on your door, so please ensure your tree is out on time.
